The Unavoidable Feeling of Loneliness of Human Beings——Trial Analysis on the Consciousness of the Lonely in Coetzee's Novels

This paper reckons that the characters in the South African writer JM.Coetzee's book series are caught deeply in the feeling of loneliness which not only is the objective portrait of the real existence and spiritual state of the South Africa people with special history and reality in the background,but also embodies the writer's personal experience of the Absurd reality in South Africa and his concern for the loneliness suffered by all the human beings.Artistically,Coetzee's work is typical for its objective and calm style of realism and also the style of post-modernism which is full of metaphors and symbols.He seems to walk on the crossroads between the tradition and modern.
