Metaphysics of the Western Modern Art

Light is the metaphor of truth and the symbol of subject in metaphysics. Light is the word of core which runs through the whole history of west art. In this thesis, we study the connection between light and reason through history, reveal that modern art is metaphysics. Modern art and metaphysics also adore the subject of human beings, ignore the form of sensibility, regard the nature as object that human being is the oppose of the nature. Modern art breaks up the form of art.
