Historical Analysis on China’s Industry Structure Change during the Initial Age of Reform (1979-1992)——A Research Based on Leading Industry’s Performance

Innovation,needs upgrading,and technological progress are the most important factors in leading industry’s alternation.China’s industry structure was changing from heavy trend to light during 1979-1992.For the improvement of institution circumstance,demand drive and equipment import,light industry and durable consumer goods grew so rapidly that they came to be the leading industry at that time.In view of China is a government dominated-economy,the industry policy affected the direction of leading industry.At present,the adaptive-oriented policy lacks strategic planning,which is the main reason to affecting the performance of the leading industry.
