Abstract
The filling effect of nanokaolin to the CM140B was researched.With the increase of nanokanlin dosage,the scorch time and optimum cure time of the CM140B were increased.Adding a little dosage of nanokaolin to CM140B,the tensile strength,elongation at break,tear strength,mooney viscosity and hardness were all decreased.When the dosage of nanokaolin was increased,the tensile strength,elongation at break,modulus,tear strength,mooney viscosity and hardness were increased.Nanokaolin had equal reinforced effect with middle reinforced-carbon black and silica,but the scorch time and mooney viscosity were lower than silica.Compared with other kaolin,nanokaolin gave CM140B good performance.
