Abstract
Decontaminating and crystallizing of manganese sulfate prepared by leaching pyrolusite with SO_2 are studied. After Fe~2+ in leaching solution is oxidated to Fe~3+, Fe and Al can be removed by adding lime water to leaching solution to adjust pH, and heavy metals can also be removed by adding SDD to the solution. Quality of manganese sulfate preparated can reach GB8213-87 feed-grade manganese sulfate standards after being filtrated, rested, evaporated, concentrated and crystallized.
