Abstract
As the economy develops, English teaching has drawn the attention of the learners and researchers at home and abroad. However, there is a controversy on how to improve English teaching effectively among linguistic and teaching field. The author tries to make a research on this based on her own teaching and learning experience and draw a conclusion that English and Chinese can be properly used in different teaching phases and content to realize college English teaching target.
