Abstract
Cryptosporidium species are apicomplexan parasites that mainly parasitize the gastrointestinal epithelium of a wide range of vertebrate hosts, including humans, and frequently cause diarrhea disease.Recently research of Cryptosporidium is hotspot in parasitology and environmental microbiology.Molecular technology have been greatly facilitating the research work of Crvptosporidium, and this article summarizes the advance of its application in detecting, molecular epidemiology, taxonomy and design of drug.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
