Abstract
Mineral exploration activity is being focused on large or giant ore deposits. The main and quantitative difference between large ore deposits and small ones lies in the tremendous endowment and accumulation of elements for the formation of large ore deposits. The available contents of metals play the most important role in the formation of ore deposits. This paper describes a geochemical quantitative assessment model and approach for large ore deposits based on 3 dimension geochemical dispersion patterns and available metals for mineralization.
