Abstract
Objective To analyse the effects on o ccupational workers' hearing loss caused by steady state noise, impulsive noise and segmental vibration. Methods T o select 600 workers exposed in noise and noise-vibration environment, they wer e divided into three groups(impulsive noise-vibration exposure group, impulsive no ise exposure group, steady state noise exposure group).hearing loss of workers in each group was separately detected, averages of lower-frequency and higher-f requ ency hearing loss were counted and analysed. Results It show ed noise-induced hea ring in various degrees in various noise exposure environment. Hearing of lower -frequency was injured severely in the impulsive noise-vibration exposure grou p t han that in the impulsive noise exposure group.hearing of lower-frequency was in jured heavily and hearing of higher-frequency was injured slightly in the impu ls ive noise exposure group than that in the steady state noise exposure group. Conclusion Hearing impairment of workers may be heavily caused b y the combination of noise and vibration, especially hearing impairment of lower frequency.
