Abstract

A kind of outer-hanging propulsion apparatus which is independent relatively to the barge,is composed of a wing-shaped steel floating shell with a diesel engine in it and a conduit propeller out of it.The propulsion apparatus works as a rudder,connected to the ship by hinge,with the performances of turning to the ship,adjusting draft and assembly disassembly in an easy way.It's controlling system can be fixed at proper place on the barge.
