Abstract
Serious oil-water emulsification appeared in some directional wells during their production in WC13-1 oilfield.In order to reach an accordance between optimizing production and preventing emulsification,laboratory simulation experiments were carried out to probe into the conditions of oil-water emulsification and its relationship with water cut and total fluid production rate,by using the self-developed apparatuses and by modeling formation temperature,pressure,fluid(oil and water) flowing and gravel pack completion of directional wells in WC13-1 oilfield.Therefore,the appropriate liquid production rates to prevent oil-water emulsification are defined under various water cuts,providing a theoretical guide for the field operation.
