Abstract

[Objective] To study the optimal conditions for extracting emodin from RADIX POLYGONI MULTIFLORI with the assistance of ultrasonic-microwave methods.[Method] The orthogonal test of L9(34) was used to inspect the effects of solid-liquid ratio, ethanol concentration, extraction time and microwave power on the extraction yield of emodin.[Result] the optimum extraction conditions were 1:10 solid-liquid ratio,85% ethanol concentration,40 min extraction time, and 60W extraction power.Under the optimal extraction conditions, the extracting yield of emodin was 2.65 mg/g,the added recovery of the method was 96.4%,RSD was 4.05%.[Conclusion] The extraction of emodin from RADIX POLYGONI MULTIFLORI with ultrasonic and microwave-assisted method was fast with high quality and extraction rate.
