Abstract

Due to the influence of None-Line-Of-Sight (NLOS),the performance of wireless networks location system drastically declines. The paper proposes a hybrid TDOA/AOA location algorithm, which could efficiently restrain the NLOS errors.Firstly, the NLOS Base-Stations (BS) are identified by Wylie identification algorithm of polynomial fit for measurements.Based on the statistical property of the excessive time delay in NLOS environment, the measurements for TDOA are reconstructed by estimating the mean and variance of the excessive time delay. Then, the location estimation of wireless networks location system is obtained by the hybrid TDOA/AOA location algorithm of Taylor Series expansion.Simulation results show that this method could efficiently raise the location accuracy of wireless networks with the existence of NLOS errors.
