Modern Explanation of Meaning beyond Words Theory

The research of modern western linguistic philosophy can be traced back to ancient Greek philosophy. However, by analyzing ancient literature works, we can find that it also represented in ancient Chinese philosophy. This thesis inspects the modern philosophy theory of meaning beyond words and tries to draw the outline of the similar and different characteristics with modern linguistic philosophy.
