Clinical analysis of using automatic immunohistochemistry stainer

Objective To summary the work characteristics of Ventana automatic immuno-histochemistry stainer in the process of using,and compare the differences between machine and the traditional manual immunostaining.Then the advantages and disadvantages of the automatic stainer were analyzed.Methods Cases including breast cancer,ovarian cancer,thyroid cancer,carcinoma of the digestive system,lung cancer,renal cell carcinoma,diffuse large B cell lymphoma(DLBCL) during the same period were chosed to complete immunohistiochemical staining by the machine and a technician respectively.Then the experimental results of the two groups were compared.Results There were 32 in the all 35 kinds of antibody,which were shown to the well distributed coloration,exact location,and clear background by automatic immunohistochemistry stainer.Only the remaining 3(CA125,AAT,CD10)showed poor staining results.The staining satisfaction rate was 91.4%(32/35).Conclusion Ventana automatic immunohistochemistry stainer is different from the manual operation.There are special requirements for certain details of the steps and many general advantages:excellent degree standardization,high efficiency,satisfactory staining results.The application of automatic immunohistochemistry stainer will become generally accepted in the field of clinical and pathological diagnosis.
