Abstract

Library in the modern sense started in 1850s and has experienced over 150 years of changes. Its service ideas have been well-established, renewed and developed. In this paper, the author reviewed library service ideas changes from the Three Appropriate norm to Five Principles, from Customers First and For Most to Harmony Service.
