Efficacy of Lime Sulfur against Powdery Mildew on Strawberry

The paper aims to investigate the effect of lime sulfur against powdery mildew on strawberry,and to select the suitable pesticide.[Methods] The field efficacy comparative trial was conducted among three levels of lime sulfur 45% JJF and four kinds of common fungicides.[Results] The highest control effect of all levels of lime sulfur 45% JJF and kresoxim-methyl 50% WG were above 71%,the highest control effect of chlorothalonil 75% WP,triadimefon 15% WP,thiophanate-methyl 70% WP were 67.36,52.63,29.75% respectively.[Conclusions] For strawberry before flowering,lime sulfur could be used to control powdery mildew.Kresoxim-methyl and chlorothalonil still could work,the use of triadimefon should be reduced,thiophanate-methyl should be forbidden on powdery mildew on strawberry.
