Abstract
A new phosphate-free corrosion and scale inhibitor is made from chitosan(CTS),polyaspartic acid(PASP),additives A and zinc salt.Compared with the traditional corrosion and scale inhibitors,the corrosion rate increased by 2.08%,the scale inhibition rate increased by 1.62%,and its cost was reduced by 6.7%.Besides,this phosphate-free corrosion and scale inhibitors won't cause eutrophication.In terms of economic costs,product performance and environmental consideration,the new phosphate-free corrosion and scale inhibitor is significantly superior to the traditional one,boasting obvious economic and environmental benefits.
