Abstract
To gain hydroxyapatite coating on pure titanium, the HA sol was prepared by the sol-gel reaction starting from Calcium nitrate and trimethyl phosphate, the rotating-technique was employed for the forming of HA coating on titanium. The effect of aging time and heat temperature for formation of hydroxyapatite coating were studied, and the bioactivity of the material was studied too.The samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD).The results showed that aging 24 h and heat treated at 500 ℃ were good for the formation of the hydroxyapatite coating on titanium.Bioactivity study showed that the coating material had biological activity.
