Religion tourism is a mixed thing of travel for religious practices and religious-based tourist practices or a product of religious travel and religious culture travel.The study of religion tourism should be form a large tourism perspective combining with theories of religion,tourism,sociology and economics.In order to construct a discipline system,we should study the concept,characters,types,functions,ideas and specific measures of religion tourism to form a theoretical system of religion tourism with transformation,operation,mutual construction and localization,and promote the combination with the good religious culture and the good tourist practices and make the religion tourism adapt to socialist society.
