Abstract
In this paper, the alumina ceramic-lined steel pipe manufactured by the SHS centrifugalthermit(C-T) process is reported. The influences of some factors on the process of using industrial rural powders Fe2O3 and Al as thermit are discussed, and the microstructures and properties are studied meanwhile. The experiment results show that the ceramic layer consist of Al2O3, Al2O3, FeO and3Fe2O3· 2SiO2 phases, and the HV and KIC of it are about 1327 and 3. 86MPa· m1/2 respectively.
