Abstract
Objective To investigate the relation between changes of immunologic function of patients with lung cancer after chemotherapy, curative effect and prognosis by measuring the activity of natural killer cell in peripheral blood. Methods Examine NK cells' activity in 38 patients with lung cancer before and after chemotherapy with 3H incorporation test. Results The activity of NK cells in patients of lung cancer before chemotherapy (21.56%±7.38%) was significantly decreased compared with the control group(34.28%±5.62%) (P0.01),NK cells' activity in 22 patients in effective group after chemotherapy (26.34%±3.88%) is higher than that of 16 patients in ineffective group after chemotherapy (18.78%±6.34%) (P0.05). Conclusion The immunologic function of patients is clearly improved after three months' chemotherapy,NK cells' activity is obviously increased compared with the ineffective group after chemotherapy. So detecting the activity of NK cells in time has high clinical application values for judging the immunologic function and curative effect in patients with lung cancer.
