Abstract
DNA barcoding can provide an efficient method for identifying species rapidly with a standardized short sequence of DNA and is widely used in plants, animals and microorganisms. The study of fungal DNA barcoding is relatively lagging behind. The origin, development of DNA barcoding and its application in studying fungi was reviewed. The problems and prospects of DNA barcoding were discussed.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
