Research of Passenger Transport Demand among Cities

Using gravity model and logit model, we forecast and analysis the gross passenger transport demand and the market shares of various transport modes among Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou cities group, and expound that railway transportation is not only fit to middle and long distance passenger transport but also fit to the middle and short distance passenger transport which has the large capacity and high density transport demand among cities.
