Abstract
3-Chloro-4-fluorobenzoylthiourea was synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxy pyrimidine with 3-chloro-4-fluorobenzoyl isosulfocyanic ester,which was prepared from 3-chloro-4-fluorobenzoic acid by chloration and acylation.Its structure was characterized by IR,()~1H NMR and elemental analysis.The preliminary biologic tests show the compound have good herbicidal activity.
