Abstract
A CuO-ZnO-Al 2O 3/HZSM-5 catalyst for synthesis of dimethyl ether from CO 2/H 2 was prepared using ethanol as solvent and oxalic acid as precipitator. At 245℃, 2.2MPa, 2400h -1 and H 2/CO 2 of 2.79, CO 2 conversion of 22.61%, selectivity to dimethyl ether of 45.90%, selectivity to methanol of 14.81% and yield of oxo-compounds (CH 3OH+CH 3OCH 3) of 13.73% were obtained. Preliminary investigation into reaction condition and activity stability of the catalyst were made.
