Abstract
Objective To discuss the reference value range of the total antioxidant capacity in primary students. Methods The serum was isolated from the whole blood to measure the concentration of the total antioxidant capacity through the total antioxidant capacity( T-AOC) test kit. The samples were divided into two groups for statistical analysis in gender and age. Results Neither gender groups nor age groups existed significant statistical differences in total antioxidant capacity( P 0. 05).The reference range of the total antioxidant capacity for primary students was 2. 34 U / ml ~ 26. 96 U / ml in serum. Conclusion The reference range of total antioxidant capacity in primary students was suggested to provide available basis for the related research.
