Abstract

In this paper, the workflow management technology, relevant workflow research projects,and some famous workflow products are introduced. The workflow management systems and products are classified. The shortcomings of the existing workflow management systems are pointed out. On this basis, the research and development trends of the workflow management system and product are given. In this paper, the application areas for workflow technology in CIMS and the problems to be solved are discussed.
