Abstract
Using Landsat TM images,field survey data and 3S techniques,the effects of different scales on regional landscape pattern were analyzed in the study area.The result indicated that the variation of sampling scales was an important factor to analyze forest landscape pattern.Maximum patch area and patch amount were significantly related to sampling area.The landscape diversity reached the highest when sampling area was about 70% of the studied area.The average of landscape diversity indices was 1.854.The index of landscape dominance was increasing,when sampling area was 69% lower than the study area.Fig 4,Tab 2,Ref 16
