Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of MMC on phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy. Methods During the operation of phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy,MMC(0.20 mg/ml) was used under scleral flap for 4 minutes. Results 3 months after operation, postoperative IOP was significantly lower than preoperation and postoperative visual acuity was higher than preoperative. Conclusions The use of MMC on phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy is a safe, effective and simple method for the treatment of glaucoma complicated with cataract
