Abstract
Detection of high frequency periodic weak signal under heavy noise background was studied by using stochastic resonance. The frequency of the weak signal was lowered by using time step sampling and the noise going with large frequency weak signal was restrained intensively by the stochastic resonance of nonlinear bistable system, meanwhile, the periodic signal was stood out from the heavy noise background. The results show that this method has clear potential for detecting high frequency periodic weak signal from heavy noise background with stochastic resonance and time step sampling, and the frequency of weak signal detected by stochastic resonance can be improved greatly.
