Abstract

This paper states the definition of uncorrelated, orthogonal and independent of course teaching. And we analyze the difference and relationship among them, especially the relationship between uncorrelated and independent by a lot of examples.Lastly,it explains the background meaning of correlation. It helps students understand those three concepts in depth, and will benefit them in understanding following contents in this course.
