Mycoplasma Pneumonia Associated with Pleural Effusion:An Analysis of 21 Cases

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical features and treatment issues of mycoplasma pneumonia with pleural effusion.Methods Clinical data of 21 cases of hospitalized children with mycoplasma pneumonia and pleural effusion were analyzed.Results Mycoplasma pneumonia was easily complicated by pleural effusion;Hospitalized children who were treated by azithromycin and glucocorticoid could get good effect.Conclusion Anyone who got mycoplasma pneumonia should be care of pleural effusion,pay attention to early diagnosis and accept standard treatment,and the prognosis is good.
