Abstract

The achievements in the study of Chinese etymology in the period of Wei,Jin,the South and North Dynasties,Sui,Tang and the Five Dynasties had not been paid much attention to.Although Lingbiaoluyi is a book of notes,there are much components of study of Chinese etymology.We can make contributions to the study of history of Chinese etymology in the way of putting them in order.
