Abstract

Objective:To explore the values of high-frequency ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound in the qualitative diagnosis of breast lumps.Methods:365 patients with breast lumps were examined by high-frequency two dimensional ultrasound to observe the location,form,border,longitude-latitude ratio, inner and behind echo, tiny calcification points and the axillary lymphonodus. All the patients were examined by color Doppler ultrasound to observe the characters of breast lumps by color Doppler flow imaging, resistance index(RI) and peak systolic velocity(Vmax).Results:365 patients with breast lumps accepted operation therapy and had pathologic diagnosis,339 patients was diagnosed as breast cancer by ultrasound, the coincidence rate was 92.88%,and the misdiagnosis rate was 17.22%(26 patients). Conclusion:High frequency two dimensional ultrasound combined with color Doppler flow imaging are of value in the diagnosis of breast cancer.
