Expression of HO-1 and CO in Different Periods of Hepatic Cirrhosis in Rats

Abstract

Observation was made on the expression of HO-1 and CO system in different periods of hepatic cirrhosis in rats.Models of rats with hepatic cirrhosis of different stages induced by CCl_4 were established,then the rats were divided into 4 groups:1 in early stage,12 cases;2 in mid-stage,11 cases;3 in later stage,11 cases;4 under control group,10 cases.Respectively blood from portal vein was taken to test the density of CO in it,liver tissue was taken to observe the expression of HO-1.CO density increases in the mid-stage,expression of HO-1 in liver tissue is up-regulated in the rats with hepatic cirrhosis.HO-CO system plays an important role in portal hypertension.
