Abstract
It is difficult to establish flood forecasting system of complicated regional inflows river reach in hydrological forecasting domain. At the same time, the flood peak forecast precision is the key problems of flood forecasting process.Taking Cuntan hydrologic station for an example,BPPR network model is applied to establish flood forecasting model and the flood process from 2008 to 2010 are forecasted. The results show that the flood peak mapping and flood process simulation precisions are both higher, and the forecasting effect is satisfactory.
