Discussion on Curriculum Design of "College English" in Colleges and Universities of Science and Technology

In Science and engineering colleges and universities,theproblems that the curriculum design of College English doesn't fit the characteristics of students and the teaching goals,which is difficult to implement the principle of abilities and so on exist.The curriculum reform needs to follow the principles:the principle of practicability,the classification of instruction and grades teaching principle,the principle of specialized characteristic and the principle of emphasis on the network education.Curriculum module settings should include five big modules as language learning strategies,core English,the application of skills,culture promotion,professional English.
