Abstract

By using two-dimensional NMR techniques, i.e. Total correlation spectroscopy (TOCSY), two-dimensional nuclear Overhauser enhancement (2D NOESY),two-dimensional heteronuclear multiple quantum coherence (HMQC) and two-dimensional heteronuclear multiple-bond correlation (HMBC), 1H and 13C NMR spectra of the compound 1,2-dihydro-4-(4-hydroxylphenyl)(2H) phthalazin- 1-one were completely assigned. The structural characteristics of the compound were analysed and discussed.
