Chinese And English Cultural Dieferences As Seen From Words' Associative Meaning

Abstract

Words' associative meaning reflects the culture of different nationalities. Cultural universalism may result in the similar or same associative meaning , cultural individuality may result in the different associative meaning. This paper attempts to survey some cultural differences through the comparison of words' associative meaning.
