Report on the Sixth National Sugarcane Regional Trial in Zhangzhou in 2008-2009

Abstract

The results of 11 sugarcane varieties under the 6th national sugarcane regional trial with 2 plant and 1 ratoon crops in zhangzhou,Fujian were analyzed.The agronomic trait of all sugarcane varieties showed good in germination of seeds and tillering.Mintang96-6016 and Guifu 98-296 showed high cane yield,strong rationing ability and good sucrose content.Guiyin6 and Mintang95-261 showed high cane yield and medium sucrose content and Mintang 95-261 showed excellent ratooning ability.And Yuegan18,Yuegan16,Funong02-3924,Yunzhe99-91,Funong 99-20169 and Gannang99-591 showed high sucrose content but medium in cane yield.RB76-5418 showed common in sucrose content and cane yield
