Abstract
The oil spill identification is very important in the accident investigation.The new development of oil spill identification method and system was introduced from foreign and domestic,and analysis of the feature of the identification methods was done.The trend of oil spill identification system is the integration of isolated oil spill identification technique and information processing technique to the system that can be automatically achieved.
