Abstract

There are 174 species(including varieties)of pteridophytes belonging to 79 genera and 36 families in the Mt.Guilongshan Nature Reserve,Among them a species,Polystichum eximium is first recorded. The predominant families are Dryopteridaceae,Thelypteridaceae,Athyriaceae, Polypodiaceae and Pterisaceae. These 5 families comprise about 57.5% of the total pteridophytes.Predominant genera are Dryopteris,Pteris,Asplenium,Arachniodes,Selaginella,Allantodia and Cyclosorus,These 7 genera comprise about 36.2% of the total pteridophytes. The top families distribution types are cosmopolitan and pantropic ones. The main genera's are pantropical ones.According to similarities of species, this flora is more closely allied to Luoboyan and Sanqingshan than to the other areas, but far away from Jigongshan Nature Reserve, etc.
