Abstract
The membrane bioreactor(MBR) has received great attention in wastewater treatment and recovery for years.However,the membrane pollution in the function was not resolved thoroughly.The influencing factors were systemicly discussed in three aspects,such as the properties of membrane material,the properties of mixed liquor of activated sludge and the operation conditions.The technical measures for effectively reducing membrane fouling were summarized,and the prospect of membrane bioreactor application were presented.
