Abstract
The paper puts forward the authors' views about the relations and mathematical characteristics of price indices,Laspeyres index and Paasche index.A new plan is proposed and tested.On the premise of keeping the characteristic of price index.As a result of test,the new plan is simple and convenient and the error is small.
