Effect of Bushentongluo Medicine Combination Acupuncture on Hemodynamics and the Content of ET and NO in Blood Plasma of Patients with the Vertebral Artery Type of Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:To observe the effect of Bushentongluo medicine combination acupuncture on hemodynamics and the content of Endothelin(ET)and nitric oxide(NO)in blood plasma of patients with the vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis.Methods:162 cases of the vertebral artery type of cervical spondylosis were devided into two groups randomly,and the treatment group(n=84)was treated with Bushentongluo medicine Combination acupuncture,and the control group(n=78)was treated with acupuncture,to observe hemodynamics and the content of ET and NO in blood plasma and therapeutic effect after two weeks of treatment.Results:Compared with before treatment,the content of NO in blood plasma were increased and the content of ET were decreased obviously in two groups(P0.01);The Vs and Vm of BA and VA were increased obviously in two groups(P0.01);Compared with control group,the content of ET and NO were different obviously in treatment groups(P0.05),and data of haemodynamics were different obviously in treatment groups(P0.05 or P0.01).The effective rate of treatment group was 89.3%,which was higher than that of control group(76.9%,P0.05).Conclusion:The therapeutic effect of Bushentongluo medicine combination acupuncture is super to that of acupuncture,and the fuction were relative to improve hemodynamics and rejust the content of ET and NO to increase blood-supply for brain.
