Abstract

ZHANG Guo-guang has summarized the research on Dream of Red Mansions in the past 60 years and his statement two A Dream of Red Mansions,two XUE Bao-chai is his declaration of the contemporary research on the masterpiece.All of his doings have made a great achievement for the healthy development of the research on Dream of Red Mansions,including his sharp criticism against ZHOU Ru-chang,his high praise of GAO E for his great contribution to the masterpiece,and his controversy with OUYANG Jian,etc.
