Abstract
Use of Pro/E and ANSYS Workbench integrating development platform to make static analysis and modal analysis on the machine tool bed for a typical condition and gain static and modal characteristics under this circumstances. And in this foundation,a sensitivity analysis on the thickness of the internal reinforcing is conducted, which gives the corresponding changes of total deformation maximum and total deformation frenquency. The results show that the cooperative application of CAD software and ANSYS Workbench integrating development platform provides a great convenience for design and analysis of the machine tool.
