Abstract
To take the area of southeast Asia as an example,this article gives a review of the booming Chinese language education overseas after the opening and reforming of China,and a review of the main differences and characteristics of the heated Chinese language education overseas in the history in the following three aspects:the change of the style;the change of connotation range of Chinese culture;the practical orientation.This article points out that Chinese language education overseas has undergone changes from having the aim of keeping completely to Confucianism,to trying to transplant China's education system and value overseas,to combining the adaptation to the requirements for making a living under the condition of globalization,such as Chinese business and employment,together with promoting Chinese culture.Then,it also points out:it is necessary to develop Chinese language education overseas in a multi-level and three-dimensional way,to make full use of all the social resources,such as traditional overseas Chinese language schools and Chinese communities,long distance education of Chinese language and the education network,overseas Chinese newspapers,movie and television system of Chinese language,overseas cultural affairs institutions of Chinese language,overseas institutions of Chinese studies,overseas Chinese religious communities and charitable institutions,overseas Chinese business institutions and overseas Chinese travel institutions,to continue to solve the problems of teaching materials and teachers,and to create a good social and political environment for Chinese language education overseas,so as to bring into being the greatest joint force to promote the sustainable development of Chinese language education overseas.
