Abstract
The construction of Socialist Core Value System was brought forward on the Sixth Plenum of the 16th CPC in 2006.Scholars deeply analyze and discuss about its great meaning,status and evaluation,concept connotation,structure relationship,theoretical and practical basis,also on the path of construction.To classify and analyze many articles written by domestic experts and scholars,the paper concludes that the key point to understand,fulfill and advance the construction on Socialist Core Value System is to acquire the self-identity by society,then pay close attention to the innovation of theory in social sciences.
